We have known pretty much about Jesus.
Today, I would like to tell you about Jesus’ parents.
At first, I would like to tell you about Jesus’ father, Joseph.
The first appearance of Joseph is in the gospels of Matthew and Luke, one of which trace Joseph's lineage back to King David. The two lists give differing genealogies: Matthew says that Joseph's father was called Jacob ( see Matthew 1 : 16 ).
Joseph is known as a good father. God chose him to be the father of Jesus because he was humble and kind person.
Joseph was a fiance of Mary when God put Jesus in Mary’s womb. Joseph never touched Mary, but Mary could be pregnant. Not all of people can be like Joseph. He received Mary just the way she was, and he also believed that Mary’s womb was from God. It proves that Joseph believed in God and loved God so much.
Joseph was mentioned in the Bible for the last time is when Jesus was 12 year-old. Rumour has it that Joseph had died before the Marriage Event in Cana.
By seeing Joseph could be chosen as the father of Jesus, we can say that God loves humble person. When you lay down your life to the Almighty God, God will make everything fine.
